In the series, we follow family doctor Maja Križaj, who, after her husband’s financial collapse, moves with her family from Ljubljana to the idyllic Gorenjska region, to a small village called Velika vas. There, where time flows more slowly and nature remains unspoiled, she hopes to start anew. However, it soon becomes clear that the grass in the countryside is not greener than in the city.
